Dedicated to nurturing creativity and preserving the historic Sautee and Nacoochee Valleys–Folk Pottery Museum, art and gift galleries, events and more.

The SNCA’s vision statement is “to nurture creativity and to preserve and protect the beloved resources of the Sautee and Nacoochee valleys and surrounding areas,” and they do an excellent job. I recommend you make the Sautee Nacoochee Center one of your first stops when visiting the area.

Within the complex are two Art Galleries containing local art for sale, a History Museum containing local artifacts (a favorite among many), and the Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia, which houses some of the very best folk pottery available.

There are also many events throughout the year that you will not want to miss (see the SNCA website for more details), including a monthly Contra Dance held in their Historic Gym.

Facility rentals are also available for weddings, reunions, parties, etc.
